Things to know prior to waxing
When you make an appointment for a body waxing service, please make
sure you have at least 1/4 inch of growth (generally 2-3 weeks) by the
appointment date.
The day of appointment , you should avoid using moisturizer. Do not tan,
24 - 48 hours prior to waxing, as this increases skin sensitivity.
If you use Accutane, Retin-A, Differin, Renova, blood thinners,
alpha hydroxy products or have a high antibiotic use, you may not
be a candidate for waxing services. Certain physical conditions
such as diabetes, pregnancy and a pre disposition to cold sores,
may also cause heightened skin sensitivity.
